Today (and tomorrow) is the day: ManhattanHenge!
If you’re in the city, look west around 8:20-25. It’s one of two times a year when the sun will be perfectly aligned with the city streets. When it hits it’s lowest point, it should make for some pretty gnarly backlit scenes.
The overpass around the Tudors — far east 42nd street — is apparently the spot to be. But I hear it gets pretty cramped, so show up early.
